Chapter 1 (NARRATIVE TEXT) A. What’s Narrative Text?           A narrative essay tells about a story. It has characters, setting and action. The characters, the setting and the problem of the narrative are usually introduced in the beginning. The problem reaches it’s high point the middle. The ending resolves the problem. B. Purpose of Narrative Text           To amuse or entertain the readers with actual or imaginary experiences in different ways. Narratives deal with some problematic event which lead to a crisis  or turning point of some kind, which in turn finds a resolution. C. Generic Structure of Narrative Text The generic structure of narrative text are:       1)     Orientation: It is about the opening paragraph where the characters of the story are introduced       2)     Complication: Where the problems in the story developed      3)     Resolution: Where the problems in the story is solved      4)     Coda: Changes of the characters or lesson/va
